The preceding photograph and the photographs that follow are images of everyday objects that have been reframed and thus redefined in a way unrelated to their original form or function. They have not been altered or reconstructed. These objects, when captured by the camera’s lens, lose their original identity, become entirely new entities.
One image may tell a story while another may evoke certain emotions. Some may be studies of light and composition, others Abstract, Impressionist, or Non-Representational. What I am challenging you to do is to look beyond the original objects, and bring your own meaning and interpretation to them.
